1. Informational Estimation Nature of the Tool

The calculations provided on TatkalCost (including eWallet top-up figures, convenience fee calculations, and payment gateway breakdowns) are computed based on published public railway circulars and fee schedules. They are intended strictly as advisory estimates.

Railway authorities and payment aggregators reserve the right to revise fares, GST classifications, or payment surcharges at any time. The final transaction amount displayed on the official IRCTC payment checkout page is binding and definitive.

2. Compliance with the Railways Act, 1989 (Section 143)

Section 143 of the Railways Act, 1989 prohibits unauthorized businesses of procuring, transferring, or selling railway tickets. TatkalCost explicitly states that:

This platform does not sell, resell, hold, or procure railway tickets.
This platform does not automate railway booking forms, CAPTCHA fields, or passenger registration.
No booking fees or ticket commission charges are levied.
All ticket purchases must be executed directly by the individual passenger on official railway booking channels (irctc.co.in or UTS mobile apps).

3. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the authors or maintainers of TatkalCost be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from unsuccessful ticket bookings, payment gateway timeouts, fund lock-in on third-party wallets, or missed trains.
